When is The Best Time to Visit Moraine Lake?

Note that the color and level of the water here change based on temperature. So, the best time to visit Moraine Lake is from the middle of June to August, as you can witness its deep, vivid turquoise water and enjoy the warm weather. The atmosphere is especially quiet and peaceful in the early morning.

Due to its high elevation, the Lake remains frozen throughout winter and late May. Activities such as fat biking, snowshoeing, or skiing are also available. However, ensure you have good avalanche knowledge for your safety.
